A warm welcome awaits you at our 1960’s home in the quiet village of Ravensden. “Garth” is a Saxon word for “enclosure” hence the house stands amongst trees, with farmland to the rear and overlooking woodland to the front.
The property has 3 rooms in total, a double room, a twin room and a single room and all share a modern guest bathroom with good size bath and shower. All rooms have a washbasin, fluffy towels, a hairdryer, bathrobes.and full beverage making facilities (tea, coffee, chocolate & bottled water).
We have private (off road) car parking available for our customers.
There is a good choice of several excellent pubs nearby for evening meals, the closest within a 10 minute walk, others within a mile and a half..
Here in the county town of Bedford, one of England's smallest counties, flanked east and west by tourist hotspots like Oxford and Cambridge and just a 35 minute train ride from Central London, we believe you will have a unique visitor experience, a quiet location yet close to a town full of flavours from cultures around the world.
